Housebound service

Do you or someone you know find it difficult to visit the Library?

Esperance residents who are unable to visit the library due to ill health, disability or frailty, and who have no family, friends or support workers who are able to collect library items for them, can access a free housebound library service.

Staff and/or volunteers will select books, audiobooks, and other items based on reading preferences and deliver them to a resident's home on a every three weeks. Staff will also collect any items and return them to the library.

This is available either long-term or on a temporary basis due to short-term incapacitation.

Please contact us on 9083 1500 or library@esperance.wa.gov.au to discuss.

As an alternative, our e-library is available from the comfort of your own home:
