Ancestry Library Edition

Ancestry Library Edition has 1.5 billion names in over 4,000 databases used to assist family history research from the Australia, United Kingdom and around the world including census records, military records, court, land and probate records, vital and church records, directories, passenger lists.

Find My Past
Findmypast provides access to archive collections from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, India and the United States to assist family history research. It includes census records, passenger lists, births, marriages and deaths, court records, wills and more. The 1921 UK Census records are now included alongside a large online collection of British & Irish newspapers. Access Findmypast.com.au (Only available via the Library's public computers)

The State Library has a wide and growing range of electronic resources available for use by members and visitors. These include eBooks, online journals, audiobooks, eMagazines, current and historical newspapers, and content services such as Ancestry and Kanopy.
