Long Term Financial Plan

The Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP) is a key document informed by the Council Plan and other strategic documents.

The LTFP is a plan for the next ten years ensuring the Shire is financially sustainable as we work towards achieving the Council Plan. The LTFP is a modelling tool to project the Shire's financial commitments over the next ten years as a means of helping to ensure financial sustainability. It is a dynamic tool which analyses financial trends over a ten year period on a range of assumptions and provides information to assess the impacts of current decisions and budgets on future financial sustainability.

This LTFP will be reviewed annually in conjunction with the budget process to ensure continued sustainability.

The Long Term Financial Plan 2022-2032 was adopted at an Ordinary Council Meeting on 28 June 2022, the Agenda and Minutes from the meeting can be viewed here. The Long Term Financial Plan can be downloaded below, or a black and white printed copy can be requested by emailing shire@esperance.wa.gov.au and collected from the Administration Building on Windich Street.
