Would you like to receive your rates notice more conveniently straight to your inbox? Then register for eRates – it’s easy!
We encourage our ratepayers to receive their rates notices via email – it’s much more efficient and convenient, plus we don’t use paper which is better for the environment.
Please use the link below to register for eRates and you’ll receive your rate notices and instalment reminder notices via email.
To register, you must have your Rates Assessment number. This can be found on your rate notice.

Once you have registered we will send you an email - it's important that you click the link within this email to activate your registration.
Note: this is NOT a notification of a change of address. If you need to change your address details, please click here.
Things to be aware of before applying:
- There can only be ONE email address for each notice.
- If there is more than one owner of the property and other owner/s apply to receive an electronic notice, the eRates system will by default send the notice to the last registered email address.
- The registration process will automatically close fourteen (14) days prior to the issue date of any rate notice and re-open automatically after the issue date.
- If the registration has not been received in time for when the next notice is issued, you will automatically receive your rates notice by post.
If you are not the Owner or Agent for the Property, you are not eligible to register.

When do registrations open for eRates?
Registration for eRates is open all year round. To register you will need your email and Rates Assessment number on hand. Click through here and follow the prompts to register.
Can I still register for eRates if I choose the 4 Instalments option?
You sure can! Registration deadline is COB 6 November 2022 to receive all three reminders for instalments.
Please note: To qualify for the 4 Instalment option you must pay your first instalment by the due date 28/9/2022.
Why have I received my rates via post when I have signed up for eRates?
If you signed up for eRates any time after 10am on 12/8/2022 then you would of missed the time frame for the 2022/23 Rates. However, you are now registered for 2023/24 Rates.
Will I still get my Waste Vouchers if I sign up to eRates?
Yes you will. Vouchers will be included in the email attached to the rate notice electronically, which can be scanned at the Wylie Bay Waste Facility.
The benefit of electronic rates - we are keeping our town greener, and you won't lose your waste voucher! You can keep the vouchers on your phone for easy access at the Wylie Bay Waste Facility.
The email will also include links to the Rates Booklet, Fire Notice, Change of Pet Registration Address Form and other information.
What if I don’t sign up for eRates?
You will still receive your Rates Notice and Waste Vouchers, Fire Notice and Rates Booklet in the mail.
Can my Rates go to more than one email address if I register for eRates?
No, we are only able to take one email address. If you wish for the rates to go to other title holders you can simply forward them.
Can my Rates go to an email address, and posted to another?
No, we are only able to send the rates via one platform (either email or post).
