The guiding document for our Museum, the Esperance Museum Strategic Plan 2017 - 2023, is up for review.
This Strategic Plan is a powerful document to help us anticipate challenges and guide the direction of our programs. A Strategic Planning Workshop held with stakeholders in May 2016 identified areas to improve on, laid down goals to work towards, and strategies to succeed.
Consultation is open once again to refresh the Museum Strategic Plan and check in with our community on what they want our Museum to look like into the future. As plans for the James Street Cultural Precinct progress, this is a significant opportunity for everyone to have their say on what they want to see from our Museum. This consultation will tell us what should be prioritised, what direction the Museum should be moving in, and will help the Shire understand how important the Museum is to the community. We would like to encourage everyone to provide us with their thoughts as we plan an exciting future for the Museum.
Consultation is open till the end of June and you can provide your feedback through our online platform here,
or visit the Esperance Museum in person for a gold coin donation on the weekend of 15-18 June.
